Let the Games Begin – London Olympics 2012

I took this photograph in the foyer of Zart Art in Lexton Road, Box Hill, here in Melbourne. I hope you find it as inspirational as I did in thinking about the 2012 London Olympics. During my 26 years of teaching Art, Zart has provided outstanding support with Professional Development, Workshops, new products and an  enormous range of quality art materials in an “Art Supermarket” style store. Another great feature of Zart is its Student Gallery which showcases the artworks of Victorian students, both Primary and Secondary. Zart is well worth a visit either on line or in person.

  1. Thank you Jessica. It was great to recieve your Blog comment. Yes, the arrangement of the poster is very eyecatching. Maybe we can use some of the ideas in our classrooms while the London Olympics are on.
Very Best Regards from Mrs Osborn.

  3. Hello Holly,
Thank you for your encouraging words about our Blog. I wonder whether you are the Holly from Taylors Lakes Primary School?. Our Athletes are doing their best I am sure. I’m certain that there would be a great deal of pressure created by knowing that the World is watching you perform at the Olympic Games. Which sport would you most like to compete in?
Very Best Wishes from Mrs Osborn.
