Zart – Christmas Alphabet Workshop

Amy Green from Romsey was the excellent presenter at the Christmas Alphabet Workshop held in our Art Room on Tuesday 28th October. We made a delightful Santa in a printed chimney, a tricky wire and paper Christmas Tree and a brilliant folded and cut and folded again paper Star. Lastly we tried decorated letters ( I didn’t finish that one) . It was a relaxed and interesting workshop with Amy as our leader. The special Zart papers helped the Stars look so good. I’ll take some photos and post them ASAP.

Term 4 So Far

The new Term’s activities bring more excitement. Mosaics for Grade Six and our original Bird Puppets with flappable wings for Grade One. The Grade 2  Printed Rocking Horses are amazing and the Preps’ Mono Printed Castles and stencil printed Pumpkin Coaches are surprising. I’m looking forward to posting photos of the finished work. Downsizing my email inbox I found this useful Colour link.          http://www.austmus.gov.au/colour   I also thought this year’s Art Shirt deserved some attention before it gets too messy. The younger students laugh when I turn to write on the whiteboard.I used fabic markers and fabric pastels which are heat set with an iron.
