The Mosaics are Up @ last

Posted by tlpsart on 27th August 2008

It’s only taken 3 years but the mosaics done by the Grade 6 Students each year as a Graduation gift to the school are finally on display outside.

Thanks to our Groundskeeper, Lawrence  Jackson,

they are up  on the brick wall between the Staffroom and the Library.

I obviously need to photograph them at a different time of day to eliminate the shadows.

The Grade 6 masks are  great this year. We have asked the students to add extra pieces to them rather than the standard shape. This is taking longer but our maxim is “Quality Work Takes Time” and this applies to the current masks.
